Iran Chronicle brings together original writing and material drawn from existing historical sources. Our purpose is to make Iran’s history accessible to a broad readership while developing a lasting resource for future study.
Sources form part of each article’s discussion. We aim to explain the basis of the account being presented and acknowledge differing historical interpretations where they are relevant. Where accounts disagree or evidence leaves questions unresolved, we seek to make those distinctions clear rather than present a single interpretation as settled fact.
We use AI to assist with collecting information and reviewing material. Its role is to support the preparation of content, not to serve as a historical source in its own right.
Our approach will continue to develop as Iran Chronicle grows, guided by its purpose: to record Iran’s history and preserve it for future generations.
